Chốt CV is a personal CV tool — not a job board and not a B2B knowledge-base product. This page explains what data we use, how it flows, and what you control.

Processing pipeline

End-to-end path from draft to export. Nothing is written into your resume until you Accept.

  1. Upload or interview

    PDF/DOCX parse or empty-start interview; partial failures fall back to paste/dictation.

  2. JD input

    Paste job text (primary) or job URL (best-effort). Failures do not block editing.

  3. Diagnose

    Match score, missing keywords, format hints — suggestions only.

  4. Diffs + Accept

    ≤3 proposed edits per round. Accept / Edit / Reject. No silent writes.

  5. Template

    Pick layout after content is solid (ATS, bilingual, photo families).

  6. Export

    PDF (text-selectable) + PNG; optional ATS-clean variant.

Drafts default to this device. Cloud sync only after sign-in. AI calls go through the product gateway — not a free-for-all public dump of your file.

Processors (high level)

  • Document parse — extract text/structure from upload; degrade gracefully.
  • AI via gateway — diagnose and propose rewrites; never invent employers, metrics, or certificates as facts.
  • Template render + Chromium export pool — PDF/PNG from the same preview tree.
  • Optional URL fetch — allowlisted job/company pages only; always degradable to paste.
